Questions About the Journal?

Everything you need to know about the New Moon Spiral Planner & Guided Journal—how it works, who it’s for, and how to make the most of it.

  • What is a moon circle?
A moon circle is an ancient and modern practice rooted in nature and present across many cultures. It’s a space of community, connection, and deep listening—where every voice is honored and each person brings a story, a gift, and a piece of the whole. We gather in circle to reflect, share, and seek wisdom—within ourselves and from one another.
  • What is a New Moon vs Full Moon Circle?
A New Moon Circle is held at the start of the lunar cycle, when the sky is dark and the moon aligns with the sun. This is a time for setting intentions, planting energetic seeds, and clarifying your desires for the moonth ahead. In these circles, we focus on visioning, goal-setting, and beginning anew—with the support of tarot, astrology, and journaling prompts to guide your process. A Full Moon Circle takes place when the moon is fully illuminated—marking a time of culmination, clarity, and release. These gatherings are about celebrating progress, letting go of what no longer serves, and reconnecting with your deeper rhythm. We use tarot, ritual, and reflection to harness the moon’s heightened energy and illuminate your path forward. Both circles offer a sacred space to pause, reflect, and realign with the lunar cycle—each with its own energetic focus and spiritual gifts.
  • What happens in a YesSpiral Moon Circle?
YesSpiral Moon Circles are moonthly gatherings to reflect, share, and co-create intentional change. We gather under the New Moon to set intentions and plant energetic seeds, and under the Full Moon to celebrate, release, and reconnect with our deeper truth. When we meet in sacred space, the moon becomes our mirror. Together, we hold space to be seen, inspired, and transformed.
  • What’s included in my private or virtual circle?
Every YesSpiral Moon Circle—whether virtual or in-person—is a sacred, guided experience designed to align you with the lunar cycle and your inner wisdom. Here’s what’s included: 🌕 A 90-minute virtual or 2-hour in-person facilitated gathering 🌙 Astrological insight into the current moon phase and zodiac energy 🃏 A themed tarot spread to support reflection, clarity, and alignment ✍️ Guided journaling prompts or contemplative questions 🗣 Optional sharing and group discussion in a heart-centered circle 🔔 Grounding practices like chanting, breathwork, or gentle movement 🧘‍♀️ A supportive closing ritual to integrate and carry the energy forward All virtual circles are held on Zoom. In-person circles can be hosted in your space (within NYC) or—coming soon—at a location booked by YesSpiral. Whether you’re gathering solo or with a small group, you’ll walk away feeling grounded, inspired, and in rhythm with the moon.
  • How long are the sessions?
Virtual Moon Circles are 90 minutes long and take place on Zoom. They’re ideal for intimate, focused gatherings from the comfort of your own space. In-Person Moon Circles are 2 hours long and include time for grounding, ritual setup, connection, and integration. These sessions can be hosted in your home (within NYC) or—by request—at a location arranged by YesSpiral. Each session is intentionally paced to help you slow down, reconnect, and move with the rhythm of the moon.
  • Is this for individuals or groups?
Both. You can join a public YesSpiral circle or book a private one for you and your community. Circles work beautifully for solo intention-setting, small sisterhood groups, birthdays, rites of passage, or creative resets.
  • Do I need a tarot or oracle deck?
You don’t need one to join, but having a tarot deck enhances the experience. We work with the cards aligned with each zodiac sign and do a custom moonthly spread. An oracle deck works too—or another tool if you feel called. Creativity is welcome.
  • Can I join if I’m new to tarot or astrology?
Yes! Total beginners are welcome. Circles are structured to meet you where you are—with reflection prompts, card meanings, and optional journaling guidance. You don’t need to know anything ahead of time.
  • Still have a question?
Send me an email at yesspiral@gmail.com
  • How long does one journal last?
It’s designed to guide you through 13 lunar cycles—about a full year of moonthly practice.
