Some years ago, I made the choice to say yes to the opportunities that were presenting themselves instead if saying no. Very soon after making this choice I almost instantly became more popular. I noticed a lot more invitations were coming my way and I was exposed to a more diverse set of people and circumstances. It’s like the old saying: when the student is ready the teacher appears.
In 2010 I went to Barnes and Nobel and walked out with my very own Tarot deck. For the next few years I immersed myself in tarot learning as much as I could from books, websites, and classes around NYC. In 2013 I enrolled in an intensive program called Five-Day Spring Detox for a Vibrant Life at Kripalu with Tiffany Cruikshank where we practiced yoga, learned about nutrition, & myofascial release. In 2014 I went all in for an intensive immersion into Gendai Reiki Ho with Audrey and James Pearson. In 2015 I went to 2 days 2 nights Readers Studio Tarot Conference where I advanced my Tarot knowledge and joined an international tarot community. In 2016 I went through 200 Hours Yoga Teacher Training en Espanol at Kripalu with Rina Jakubowicz. In 2017 I plunged into the world of Herbalism in a 5 day program called Everyday Herbalism: Backyard & Kitchen Remedies where we learned how to identify herbs in their natural habit, how to forage them, and prepare them in different ways taught by Jacquelyn Dobrinska. In 2018 I enrolled at CUNY School of Professional Studies to pursue a Bachelors degree in Communications and Media. I’ve created this blog and website as part of a homework assignment for one of my classes.
I’m sharing this with you because the choices we make propel us forward, hold us back, or keep us in place. We are constantly evolving into positive or negative spirals of synchronicity. In present day 2019 I am dedicating myself to be of service. I want to share with you quick and easy tips and tricks to lead a more curated life.
Of all the spirals I went on over the years Yoga, Tarot, & Herbs are the ones I find to be foundational to any lifestyle. Yoga grounds the body and mind connection, Tarot facilitates a connection to the spiritual and mental realms, and Herbs preserve and support the body in self-restoration.
I was born in, raised in, and continue to live in, Manhattan, New York City, New York, USA. A small and congested island filled with diversity, inclusion, and expansion. Finding and sharing bits of nature amidst the paved streets and towers is of great nourishment to me, so is traveling, and of course learning the ancient arts of our ancestors.
My intention with this YesSpiral is to connect with you by sharing the tools I have accumulated over the years. I would love for you to find what nourishes you so you can return to the ever-full well within you and continually be rejuvenated.
Sign up for my newsletter if you want to keep up with what I’m up to, follow me on Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube, or check out my website. I look forward to connecting with you soon!
