The air symbol for Aquarius is a flash of lightning, like an aha moment. The waves in Aquarius’ glyph are electromagnetic like brain waves. Aquarius influences us to be innovative and to create progressive social change. Aquarius is both independent and thrives in groups held together by a common goal.

When the moon is in Aquarius the mood is collaborative and outgoing. It is a good time to get acquainted and involved with your community. Take a yoga, dance, or tai chi class. Schedule a tea or coffee date with co-workers or acquaintances. Hire a new member to your team. Set team building exercises. Connect with your constituency. Pitch an idea. Have a group over for conversation. Discuss politics and religion with an open and receptive mind.

This new moon cycle started off in Cancer. Its focus is on home and family. Then we went into the Scorpio waxing moon and the focus moved towards self-discipline and commitments. Now that the full moon is in Aquarius our focus moves into innovation and freedom.
What does innovation mean to you? To me innovation is creating new things through the use of imagination and need. For example I created the New Moon Intention Journal because I needed a place to store my new moon intentions and tarot spreads.

No? do you still want to work on that? Is it aligned with what you want now? If not, let it go, throw it into the fire. Walking away from things is totally okay. It is one way of getting clear about what we want in our lives.
Take a moment to breathe in some fresh energy to your power center. Call on Aquarius innovation and logical energy to make an insightful plan to manifest your intentions. If it feels good, continue working on it. If you feel discomfort then go back and re-work your intention or scrap it.
